Fairly new to the MuskyShop.com line of baits, the Shutter Shad is a bladed hard bait / crankbait developed by MM26 custom lures for musky. Down below you can see and hear the hard hitting vibration action it gives off underwater.
I'm a huge fan of adding a giant colorado or willow blade on back of swimbaits as recommended by previous post, well what about doing it to hard baits, maybe even current squarebill crankbaits like the Strike King 8.0? The big colorado blade in back may interfere with the squarebill lip in front, but maybe try using a smaller colorado blade!
It's overall a very innovative idea, but judging by previous posts by other companies developing lures similarly nicknamed the Shutter Shad, for instance Fish Whistle Lures and Tackle, maybe this isn't totally fresh new idea, however, there aren't that many baits like the MM26 Shudder Shad on the market, so may still be a lure that musky haven't seen as much at your local lake.

Shudder shads available now ! The bladed version sinks and can be fished multiple ways... Cast and straight retrieve for a diving/vibrating blade bait. Cast and let drop to desired depth and yo-yo...

Livingston lures has something similar that's short small and is a rubber constructed shaped shad, but with two colorado blades on back, currently completely out of stock, so it definitely must be very effective bait on musky.
I think adding a blade on back of any lure can entice more baits, few years back VMC started doing this with the Bladed Hybrid 1X Short Treble for their X-Rap jerkbaits on bass and pike, I tried it and I think it worked very well, problem is the swivel they use is cheap and the blade comes off after just one day session of jerkbait bass fishing.
MuskyShop.com sells something similar, called Next Level Mods Blade/Hook Trailers, where you can take any ordinary pike or musky bait and add a colorado or willow blade on back, perfect fishing hack modification that many Esox fishermen are unaware of and probably take it for granted!
