So do you think the musky was already going to follow the bait up or do you think it was a brilliant maneuver with the trolling motor to try bring your boat around near a shady spot like this where the Tree is hanging over and try doing a figure 8? You know bluegill and other panfish especially like to hang out near shady spots like this, food for thought... May be a great tactic and technique to try when musky fishing! Most bass and musky anglers know to cast near shady spots, but what about doing figure 8s near shady spots?
